Oh golly. I had no idea that there was a whole world of clapping complexity and expectations out there.

I am slightly scared now. Almost less likely to clap at all for fear of giving offence.

I have been using a single clap as a thank you for something I enjoyed. Maybe 3 if I am really inspired. To paraphrase Mark, what is the fundamental unit, the Planck’s constant as it were, of clapping?

I figure that so long as the ratios of clappiness are consistent, my membership fee will be distributed amongst writers the same way according to how the algorithm works.

Just goes to show that systems can’t take the complexity of human debate out of anything.

Reckon I will keep being me. Please don’t be sad with me for that.
