Sounds less like a blind spot and more like something you think deeply about. Merely the act of being unsure can be a gateway to exploring a problem with differing approaches. Every situation is unique, after all, and I imagine most of us would try every avenue before deciding that splitting the team is best (though sometimes it turns out to be).
