Looking at the photo of my working setup? Yes, I love post-it notes. They mark pages, capture scattered thoughts, and serve as reminders. I like to jot things down without overload. And the novelty ones always make me smile. Call me old fashioned, but I like the scratchiness of pen on paper. I even like my handwriting squiggles though they're nearly illegible to anyone but me. Writing by hand lets me spill raw thoughts. There's freedom in the secrecy of a notebook that isn't backed up anywhere. I feel braver there and I try not to lose that when shaping into something shareable. I'm not against tech! I've spent over two decades working in sci-tech, first in scientific and technical roles, from where I was drawn to the complexities of human interactions, how we act in groups, and how we shape our thought patterns.

I'm pulled to collaborations and how we shape working and personal lives. We all rush and latch onto ideas (me too!). But stopping to reflect helps. We can catch ourselves in the act of taking shortcuts, oversimplifying or overcomplicating. I strive for awareness and though I rarely nail it, I believe that striving improves me.

Nowadays, I have my own little business called Tuntara Pathways. That's where I put these observations and experiences to good use. Working with teams, groups, and individuals, I draw on skills in facilitation, outcome definition and completion, and coaching principles to help others reflect on where they stand and use it to move forward. Together, we craft journeys that are meaningful and fruitful, whether in business or personally.

Paths & Echoes is my Medium publication for my own reflections on the quiet pull of collaboration, the value of pausing amid rush, and creating paths from reflection to momentum. I write there and across Medium too, on team dynamics, honest facilitation, balancing life's rush with reflection. Plus a smattering of jottings on science, baking, nature and other musings.
